Day 9 - What makes God smile?

God smiles when you trust and obey Him

What God wants most from you is a relationship.
Acts of worship that make Him smile:

+ when we love Him above all else ~ heart, mind and soul (the Great Commandment).

+ when we trust Him completely ~ without question or human logic influences. Trusting God completely means having faith that He knows what is best for your life.

+ when we obey Him wholeheartedly ~ delayed obedience (not complying now) is really disobedience. Obey without reservation or hesitation. Doing will unlock the 'why's' and our understanding.

+ when we give praise and thank Him constantly. This means giving thanks for the good and bad in our lives, it all has purpose. Express adoration and gratitude it will in turn fill your heart with joy ~ com'n try it. Thank Him for your salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.

+ when we use our abilities. Do the things us humans were designed by Him to do. We all have different talents and degrees of ability. There are no unspiritual abilities, just misused ones!

God also enjoys watching you enjoy His creation. Every act of enjoyment becomes an act of worship -
WHEN YOU THANK GOD FOR IT!

We may have or had unpleasable teachers or parents but don't assume God feels the same way about you; He knows we are not capable of being perfect and sinless. (this isn't an escape clause not to strive for excellence) God looks at the attitude of your heart...

I know lots of you probably 'poo-poo' Valentine's Day - but what's the harm? - Have a fun time spreading the commercial love, and remember... God is watching us ~ Stafford

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16
