Actors and victims

In the final analysis, it's our pretences that cause our ultimate downfall. Our fear to face the truth about ourselves. On the whole it's not even being afraid of those closest to us finding out about our weaknesses and sins, but the reality of losing face in front of those who despise and hate us most.


How totally absurd is that?
