A simple existence

Friends of my choice

Makes all the difference

I'm perpectualy naive

Or borderline insane

Once again single

Heart ache again

Declaring ones love

Spoil them with gifts

Wine and dine them

Still negative rifts

A reflection of life

On relationships past

Suffered torments and tortures

They leave me aghast

My pride and morals

Inundated by scorn

Whats kept as art

Relegated to porn

Searching for answers

Not checking my past

Planning any future

Becomes a vain fast

Thoughts written down

But I'm on the wrong page

Destroyed wishes and dreams

Become frustrated rage

Attempt to stay quiet

Not making a scene

While affections are ridiculed

To all so it seems
